I’m an avid traveller in the winter months, self confessed Sci-fi nerd, and prolific sender of postcards.
Likes: Onions, travelling, roller skating, the skate park, lists, twinkly lights, street art, animals, crime based books, dinosaurs and Star Trek.
The sea, paddle boarding, chess, rain on the roof, thunder storms, train journeys, aeroplanes, lights in trees, Christmas decorations, airports, camping.
Dislikes: Peacocks, mushrooms, Donald Trump, animal cruelty, flying, eating meat, horse flies, mosquitos, racism, Brexit, rude drivers.

I’m Katrina’s sister, and I joined the team in 2017 to deal with all the behind the scenes admin and invoicing. It’s me you’ll hear from the most in peak season when the rest of the team are on the road.
Likes: Skating, cooking, baking, drawing, and crocheting woolen armour ready for the winter. The rain, thunder storms, cut grass smell, highlighters, matching soft furnishings.
Dislikes: Mushrooms (food of the devils), germs, the song ‘C’mon Eileen, pairing socks, spiders and peeling spuds.

I joined the team 4 years ago, and it’s been like home and an extended family ever since! I’m actually moving to Cornwall this year but I’ll still be back to lead a team at the larger events and festivals.
Likes: Juggling, skating, animals, nature, badminton, the gym, storms, vampires, cinema, filmmaking, dress up, charity, love, hugs, the sea, waterfalls, my family and friends, theme parks, travelling, spontaneity, pancakes.
Dislikes: Horror films, Brussel sprouts, cruel people, monotony, queueing, traffic, cancer, depression, wet socks, punch from Punch and Judy & clowns.

I joined the team 3 years ago after a brief spell with another bell tent company.
Although I keep saying ‘shoot me if you see me next year’ I still keep coming back!
Likes: Snow capped mountains, sailing, sunsets, mountain biking, other people’s dogs, foiling, his family, sprouts.
Dislikes: Eastenders, poo bags, conspiracy theories, pot holes, liquorice, litter, heights, small portions is restaurants, tripe, walking on hot coals.

Bedding and Hen camp queen

‘She’s going rogue!’
She’s a force not to be contained – not that we could, even if we tried! But she whirls though any site she helps us on, hen camp, and even covering our bedding, like the Tasmanian devil.
We couldn’t cope without her 🙂
Likes: Nature, dogs, flowers, and all animals, roast dinners, gin, trees, doing her washing, camping, cups of teas.
Dislikes: Broad beans, racism, cherries, arrogance, heat waves, cats and whiskey.

I met Trine and George skating 4 years ago, and then a couple of years ago said ‘If you need a hand, let me know’.
I’ve since worked out that hands are always needed in the summer and this will be my 3rd season!
I’m a seasoned Events worker – I shot weddings professionally for over 20 years!
Likes: Skating, movies, Sci-fi, music, food, all the food, Disney, people smiling, biscuits, cereals.
Dislikes: Ignorant / thoughtless people, hangovers, too little sleep.

I met Trine years ago when she came into the shop I then worked in looking for a buff for walking, in a weird twist her then partner had just taught me to drive, and I lived in the next road down from them.
We moved to Wales in the wake of Covid, but we join the crew for any jobs in Wales, and for Steelhouse every year.
Likes: Land rovers, off roading, good music, good company and good food.
Dislikes: The heat, coffee and the fuel prices!
