If you’re thinking about a glamping wedding you need to decide what vibe you’re going for. Hedonistic Ibiza glamour? Family-friendly fun? Flower power hippy? 70s boho? When you’ve decided on the vibe everything else will fall into place including the ‘look’ for the whole bridal party.
Think festivals and wedding glamping and you may think floaty dresses, bare feet, flower crowns, plastic cups of cider and glitter by the bucketload. Well the eco-conscious will not only want to rethink plastic cups, but also look very carefully at the glitter they’re smothering themselves in.
You may choose to limit children at your festival wedding, preferring the idea of your friends being carefree and partying like it’s 1999 (sounds dangerous) or you may embrace a big family friendly wedfest celebration where everyone parties together.
We know the picture-postcard idyll of families laughing together and #makingmemories can be a far cry from reality.
I’d always said that we would never make any reference to being a supplier that was ok with LGBTQ weddings on our website.
Not because we don’t fully support them, I’ve just always believed that we shouldn’t need to be flying a banner that says we do, because you simply shouldn’t need to ask.
A straight couple wouldn’t think to ask if we did ‘straight weddings’ so why should anyone within the LGBTQ+ community feel they do?
